Is this just an Oklahoma thing or does it tend to work all over? Seems like I would have heard about it more, if it wasn’t just a regional thing to OK. You guys ever use it?

I use It and never fished in Oklahoma. War eagle river series with orange and gold Colorado blades.

Yes they work everywhere. I throw a red one on the front, works well.

Only time I use it is in dirty water. Kind of what I was wondering. I’ll give one a few throws this weekend, but the spinnerbait bite has been non-existent around here for awhile, so I’m not expecting a miracle.

Have been fishing a SK Covert Series (3/8 oz) with an orange blade (copper colorado on the other) and have been catching good fish this last month. Stained AND clear"ish" water. I've caught a few more than my buddy who is fishing with all silver blades. Grapevine, Lewisville and Palestine mostly.

They're big here on the Ohio River when it get muddy in the spring... I've used them in highland lakes when they get muddy after hard rains... They work everywhere... Dan

Then work everywhere. I used one in 39 degree water last fall and caught them good. Water wasn’t dirty either

I always have two tied on in the spring. I have a lot of confidence in it.
War Eagle Colorado willow and the double Colorado version.

Put one on last year on lake of the pines and went to work on them. It worked up north in dirty water and south where it was a little clearer. But it was our go to bait for 3 days last March

I will use one if the water is chocolate milk colored. Other than that I keep it silver or gold blades.
