Has anyone actually seen what the thrust will be? All I'm reading is 30% more. Edit: 100 for 36v and 78v for 24v Well that's sure not 30% more when an Ultrex is 112lb thrust......would need be atleast 145lb thrust In February 2020, trolling motors from four major manufacturers entered a climate- controlled room at the Garmin facility in Olathe, Kan. The Minn Kota Ultrex, Motor- Guide X5, Lowrance Ghost and Garmin Force were all on hand. They were bolted to a platform and positioned in a 21-foot tank a little more than 6 feet deep. Then a third-party research firm measured them for thrust. Garmin's 36-volt Force, advertised at 100 pounds of thrust, tested at 113.5 pounds. The 36-volt Lowrance Ghost, advertised at 120 pounds of thrust, checked in at 74.9 pounds. MotorGuide's 36 volt X5 is advertised at 105 pounds, but performed at 56.7 pounds. And the 36-volt Ultrex from Minn Kota advertised at 112 pounds of maximum thrust, measured 72.2 pounds in the study. Tank tests revealed that in some cases, lab results differed by more than 20 percent from advertised thrust rating on product packaging. Similar results played out among the 24-volt variants available from some of the manufactures. This is pointless- it’s not different than a defense attorney hiring an independent expert. Do you think Garmin would’ve hired an independent that came up with different results than that?

^^^
I bet if they entered the controlled facility at Lowrance the Lowrance would have won.
If they entered the controlled facility at Minnkota the Ultrex would have won.
Blah blah

Russell Marine did on the water test between the Ghost and Ultrex and Ghost and Force.
The Ghost was fastest, Ultrex just behind then the Force. They did not do a Force vs Ultrex test.

Lifetime warranty on shaft and two years on everything else....Wow Wow good? Or wow bad? Cause that is not as good as the warranty I had on my Ultrex. It had three year and lifetime shaft. About half the price of this TM. I have never bent or broken a troller shaft.
I got all day I’m retired

Has anyone actually seen what the thrust will be? All I'm reading is 30% more. I believe it, Chris Lane was hauling @ss at the end of that BPT he won.

You got me one too, right?! Tell you what, we’ll have a “fish off” for it! Although I think the price is ludicrous, I have a feeling that the other 3 brands will decide to up their cost even more. The ghost is already something like $1500 more than it was, when introduced. I think it’s been out about 4 years now, maybe 3. We might all be paying $5k before too long.

I got Steez if the fish off is for bass I guess Grout if it’s for Buffalo or Catfish

If this PP proves to be a hit on the market the competitors are going to have to build higher end models. Go watch the end of the BPT, https://majorleaguefishing.com/videos/2047068/ Chris Lane doesn't win without the speed of covering water this thing provides . May be wrong but when the fish are scattered that Move might tilt the playing field advantage to shallow water guys against the FFS'ers.
