Yep. Same with boats and stuff. If people would simply stop purchasing for a bit things would come down

I am not so sure. Manufacturering costs continue to skyrocket. You might see a couple hundred dollar rebate or something but it's not dropping a substantial amount.

Wow good? Or wow bad? Cause that is not as good as the warranty I had on my Ultrex. It had three year and lifetime shaft. About half the price of this TM.

Wow BAD....you would think for that much money one would get more than 2 years.....maybe ATLEAST 5 YEARS

when they sell poles for the back to anchor the boat for 6K plus and fish finders for 5K plus, I am sure that they will sell these for 5K plus. They know the market will bare based on what people pay for the other stuff that insures you catch more fish and can win a tournament with.

Has anyone actually seen what the thrust will be? All I'm reading is 30% more.

Well that's sure not 30% more when an Ultrex is 112lb thrust......would need be atleast 145lb thrust

I always found this comment about PP customer service to be amusing. How do you know it is good? Because they are always breaking. I am not sure how good the customer service is on my gear because I haven't had to use their customer service.

The price probably has it built in for all the repairs that they will have to do to be known for good customer service. 🤪

People usually make your comment when they have never owned a Power Pole product. Let me guess you've never owned anything they make?

Exactly. If you buy a used power pole and lose a piece, any piece, they’ll have a new one on your porch in 2 days, for free. Who else would ever do that?

In February 2020, trolling motors from four major manufacturers entered a climate-
controlled room at the Garmin facility in Olathe, Kan. The Minn Kota Ultrex, Motor-
Guide X5, Lowrance Ghost and Garmin Force were all on hand. They were bolted
to a platform and positioned in a 21-foot tank a little more than 6 feet deep. Then a third-party
research firm measured them for thrust.

Garmin's 36-volt Force, advertised at 100 pounds of thrust, tested at 113.5 pounds.
The 36-volt Lowrance Ghost, advertised at 120 pounds of thrust, checked in at 74.9
pounds. MotorGuide's 36 volt X5 is advertised at 105 pounds, but performed at 56.7
pounds. And the 36-volt Ultrex from Minn Kota advertised at 112 pounds of maximum
thrust, measured 72.2 pounds in the study.

Tank tests revealed that in some cases, lab results differed by more than 20 percent
from advertised thrust rating on product packaging. Similar results played out among
the 24-volt variants available from some of the manufactures.

Well, let me enlighten you on their customer service. I had a pump that the cap cracked and water leaked into the pump.
I called just to get the cap purchased and they just sent me 2 new pumps and extra caps. I did not ask them to replace
the pumps. I was going to clean them up and flush the oil out. I had two brand new pumps in two day's, I boxed the old pumps
and sent them back. They also sent me two new spikes.

I hear the same things about customer service on other products, bass boats ect... You just need to research on why the cutomer
service is needed. Is the boat always breaking down, is the fit and finish not what was advertised, are screws coming loose, ect..

Are you one of the folks who rushed to buy a Vexus only to find out, you needed their customer service to repair/replace your hull
along with other problems or are you just one unhappy fella ?

I was given this article by PP in a chat regarding their thrust which I was told was 100lbs at 36V

I was not told if this was tank test or not.....

Here is a link to the Power Pole Move. This looks really nice, but 5k… I would have to sell all my fishing gear to afford that.

They claim the 112 isn’t a real number, testing is different. They claim you change your trolling motor out and it would be 1 mph faster than ultrex

If the wind is on your rear and you’re trucking with a 36v tm and get into a stump just right you want something to give. If the motor is indestructible. Your fiberglass around your mounting bolts are not.

Terrible idea imho

As small as the ghost prop is, I can see it being as low as it is.
