As long as she understands what happens when something breaks

I think.

The really silly one is the "if cows are laying down then the fish won't bite". Tired and lazy cows ain't got nothing to do with a fish.

Try to catch a fish when the cows are laying down
Can’t do it

Cussing during a thunderstorm will draw lightning, especially if you take the Lord's name in vain.

In the late 90s I was on the phone with a friend a few blocks away. Heard lightning strike, my phone crackled, and I could hear my friend on the other end yell a few cuss words. He got zapped through the phone lines.

10-20 people in the US get shocked/struck by lightning per year while bathing, showering, or washing dishes. Even with plastic pipes, water, particularly if you have a lot of minerals can conduct electricity. This one is easy to google and confirm. It's a small risk for sure, but getting stuck in general is small.

Residential landlines barely carry any electricity. That is why a landline still works when power is out.

So I went on to explain in the best way I could to a 3 yo about lightning and thunder. When I got finished she looked at her mom and said "Mommy, I liked your story better."

Land lines used to be carried from telephone poles at the street to the house. If those poles were stuck it could most definitely carry to the house.
