I can remember growing up that my grandmother would not talk on phone or take a bath/ shower if there was lightning in the area.

Or not have a cat or dog in your lap petting it. She said it would draw lightening. I have no clue about that one lol

I think. The really silly one is the "if cows are laying down then the fish won't bite". Tired and lazy cows ain't got nothing to do with a fish.

Just got off the phone from my mother because she said three time as we talked her mother would tell her you should not be on a phone during a storm. Hang that phone up. You will get struck by lightning.
