I can remember growing up that my grandmother would not talk on phone or take a bath/ shower if there was lightning in the area.

Or not have a cat or dog in your lap petting it. She said it would draw lightening. I have no clue about that one lol

Just got off the phone from my mother because she said three time as we talked her mother would tell her you should not be on a
phone during a storm.
