I was able to watch the video before it got taken down. Feels like they're trying to solve a lot of problems that don't really exist lol. They really emphasize how great having a titanium shaft is but how many people (excluding pros with an easily accessible service trailer nearby) are shattering their ultrex shafts?? It looks like a badass motor but damn, $5k is steep lol.

Thats my money fish

Some will have to have it but that is pretty much pricing yourself out of the market at $5k.

Probably sell a bunch of them.

Out of my price range.
I’ll stick with the Ultrex for half the price and buy a bunch more tackle I don’t need. yes

Of course with the PP prices being so high that gives the other brands lots of room to raise their prices? Hopefully not, but I guess we’re about to find out?

The price makes me want to puke, if we’re being honest. I remember paying something like $1500-$1800 for my ghost when it first came out and I thought I was crazy then!

Paid $4500 for my first bass boat, used (17 1/2 Champion with a 150 merc). Ran it for 10 flawless years. Then sold it for $4500 just six years ago. How times have changed? loco_2

You’re probably correct, doesn’t seem to be a shortage of money for many.

All they did was raise the ceiling for pricing.

The other brands now can raise prices as well.

But, technically you do not need to "rich" to afford one.

It weighs 53lbs, my ghost weighs 65 and the ultrex is 7lbs heavier, according to Russel Marine Products. I could see that being a great benefit to guys that lost speed from heavy trolling motors.

Yeah you might get 2-3 extra minutes of fishing in a tournament day.😅

Or somewhere in between.

I'm bummed that Minn Kota didn't upgrade the Ultrex to brushless before this came out. Now they have an excuse to jack the price even more when they do.
