To be fair, the time before my brother and his son did catch a 10lber and over 40 fish.

We just hit it the day after a front and it shut those fish off big time.

If you spend $1,000 - $2,000 on a guide, you are paying to learn things that you will be able to apply every day on the water after that.

100% of the people I've met who traveled hundreds of miles to fish a trophy lake like Ivie, Falcon, or fork were looking for a PB, first and foremost. Learning how to fish and use electronics is secondary.

This is exactly right. I was fortunate enough to get an invite to CB in 2021. Fished with my father and his friend. His friend caught zero, my dad caught 3 and I caught around 20 myself including two six pounders and a 4 lber. It was a fun day for sure but out of the three of us, we all had very different experiences lol.

It’s still fishing and learning to catch fish in a body of water. Unless they train their fish to only bite the bait they use...🤔

Just because I can’t afford to fish there doesn’t give me the right to talk down about the guys who choose to go there!
