Golf course? How could this lake provide water to keep up a golf course? I’ve shall see.

Private companies will spend the money necessary to support whatever they do.

Lol ! People don't spend a million $ per acre to golf in Fairfield Tx . They go to Vail . Word is you have to buy 3 acres and build . Closest Walmart is in Mexia or shop at Brookshires in Fairfield.Selling water to Dallas Lol. They didn't want to convert to natural gas for electricity and keep the plant running with the transmission lines already in place. This started years ago , get ready for rolling blackouts Texas . And people are worried about bass fishing.

It’s not feasible to convert the coal burner boilers to natural gas. However they could have demoed the boilers and built new gas fired boilers and use the present turbine/generator setups. They probably wouldn’t have been able to do full load but anything is better than nothing.

That's not even close to why they stopped stocking the lake. They stopped because the lake had a couple massive fish kills due to weather.
