Nice catch for sure.
It just goes to show you doesn’t matter if you are paying $600 a day or $2000, the guides on Ivie are going to front end you.. and you will pay for it, and you will like it.
The locals don’t tell everyone about their 16# and 17# fish and the guides are ruining their quiet little hideaway. I’m Just glad there aren’t any gar in that lake to eat all the big bass like what happened at falcon. There’s plenty of gar in that lake I’d like to meet these fishermen that can keep quiet about catching sixteen and seventeen pounders.

TP&W already did a study by harvesting a lot of big gar down there and I don’t think any had any remains of bass that I remember . Mostly carp and tilapia I believe. James at Falcon Lake Tackle has all the details. But congrats to the angler on a beautiful fish! Get ready boys, a state record will probably be caught at that lake before the next few years.
