Anybody know what he caught the fish on? A-rig, jig, swim bait? The fish was caught on an A-rig. I wonder what she weighed when TPW weighed her. Sounds like they went with the lower weight because they had put her in a holding tank that had minnows in it. I heard from someone present that before TPW got there she weighed 17.18 multiple times on the same scale. Not that it really matters, any way you spin it that is one heck of a fish! There is a VERY good chance it'll be the biggest largemouth caught anywhere in the world this year.

Anyone have a link to the video of the catch? After reading the other thread I am curious to see… Someone posted an open video on the other thread. Look at the fish when it’s about to get netted.  it is what it is, can’t change it, that lure is susceptible to it happening.
