Hey guys. Thanks for all of the recommendations and the comments. I fish with the same ones I make for customers. Everyone will have a preference and that is a good thing. A few years ago, everyone was on Fork throwing Thumpers and it got really tough to catch them on it. And before that a lot of guys were throwing the JH and I could catch more on the Thumper than guys throwing the JH.

I've been building baits for 10 years... we started in 2013. The picture for making baits today is a lot different than it was 10 years ago. The availability and timing of getting components is more unpredictable now. When we run out of a component, it could take 5 days to replace or it could take a few months. I've heard that some hook orders have even taken 18 months to be fulfilled. I won't change components unless a supplier goes out of business. I know some companies that are willing to use an alternative just to keep baits flowing, but it would really be against the premise of why I started building bladed jigs in the first place.

Online only for now. COVID was a real shock to me and my business model. I haven't changed the Thumper price in several years and part of what makes that possible is that I build them myself. It does take a little longer to get them out the door than it used to, but I am happy to say that orders have been going out more quickly since I reopened the online store than they did in 2020 and 2021. A lot of baits are built to order now due to the availability constraints that I mentioned. I was carrying way too many baits. So part of me trying to be quicker at getting orders out was selling the Vicktory Jig product line to another individual. I'm not sure if he's announced yet, so will wait for him to tell me it's ok to share the news.

I've been amazed at how many people have ordered since I reopened the store without any social media posts or marketing efforts. Thanks to all of you. There is a sale online that ends next week to show my appreciation for everyone waiting for me to reopen.

Tree Grower, please send me a DM or give me a call. If something isn't right, I always try to make it right. I have a pretty solid checklist for what can cause that. Sometimes I need to replace them.

Alex does a great job and has a quality product. I was sad to see the victory jig go, but canโ€™t wait to get my hands on them from the new individual producing them. I prefer the thunder cricket in grass and the finch everywhere else. The hunting action is second to none with the thumper.

I bought a big batch of Finch Nasty's several years ago. Never caught a fish on them, different vibration and couldn't get any confidence in them.

I am in a different hobby industry but also work for a well known Texas manufacturer of a very good product. I can vouch for what Alex is saying here, it has become extremely hard to make a quality product and keep up with demand when you can not get parts in a reasonable amount of time. I am also a fan of the Finch nasty baits and have caught a bunch of fish on thumpers! Thank you Alex for a great American made, Texas made product! Be patient and buy American when there is a choice!

See you on the lake and have a great day!
