That’s a pretty new toilet- says Delta but that’s a fluid master flush valve. Flush it with the tank lid off. How high is the water up on the Douglas valve? Even if you float is adjustable up you can raise the stem on the entire flush valve as well, knock the ring off the bottom. Quarter turn and pull up. If the flapper falls quick get a different flapper. You’re going to have to experiment with it but at the end of the day the trapway on that toilet probably isn’t very good. At the end of the day you may be replacing the toilet- get an American Standard over 150 bucks- something that advertises a large flush valve and trapway

In the mid 80's I spent a few weeks in Switzerland on the company dime. Stayed in several Hotels in Au, Brunnen, and Lucerne.
All of the hotel rooms were very small and the toilets were tall and had little water in them. It was odd hearing the "splat" and skidmarks galore. It is probably worse today.

as a kid from Okieland, my first experience with a bidet in Italy was interesting. I thought I broke something.

If they want wake, why will they not simply stay out on the main lake? Out there..they can do whatever.

Instead…they insist on finding the most protected waters….you know the kind where families have their pontoons anchored..and here they come dragging their three foot mini tsunami.

Why?

I feel your pain, but this thread is about toilets.
