They replaced parts for my blades 2 years out of warranty period for free. Great cs.

I hear people preaching all the time about how good the customer service is when they have taken care of issues. I would much rather deal with a company that nobody knows what their CS is like because their stuff doesn't break.

MAYBE JUST MAYBE you hear about it more because they have more of the market share. Just a thought. I can tell you I've owned a set of dual 8 blades on the Pathfinder since 2015 and a set of dual 10s on the Champion since 2019. Had a single 8 signature series on the champion for years before the duals in 2019. I've had 1 hose break and 1 circuit board on a pump go out. I've currently got 3 extra spikes and 2 sets of hoses that they sent me free of charge. Sounds like amazing customer service that FAR outreach the issues I've had.

Seriously!? Sh*t happens and things break. When on the water it's never smooth as ice and the bouncing from running, trailering, etc. will create issues. Then we need to use it, they can have issues.

You pay for that customer service. Absolutely. As I sit looking at the back of my boat, my two poles and brackets cost me $4,900. The couldn’t cost nearly that much to make.
If I did it again, I’d shell out the money without flinching.

I bought these one year apart, and during that time they changed the style of them. The sent me two new spikes and a cover for the base mount to make them match. I never even tried to change the mount. They have also sent me a new circuit board since one of them kept losing its Bluetooth connection to the HDS’s.

They are pretty good to deal with. No regrets at all.

When my Ultrex finally dies 100%, I may have to look at the PP TM.

They don't even have it on their website yet. I guess it's still in the developmental stages? These guys are definitely late to the party but I was beginning to think Minn Kota was never going to make the leap and Motorguide doesn't say anything one way or the other if they are brushless on their website.

I know they are out there but I've yet to see one of the new motorguides on a boat in person. IF the power pole is designed after the motorguide tour and its durablility as Bernie Schultz says I will take a strong look at it, was a big fan of those motorguides in the 2000's and put mine through lots of abuse and they just kept on ticking.

My local mechanic had one of the new Motorguides not long after they came out. It was solid feeling but they head is almost obnoxiously big. Still true cable steer though. When it was time to upgrade mine, I opted for the Ultrex.

Power Pole's Instagram says they have something new coming on 3/3/2023

I'd break every lure in my box hitting that gigantic MG head

My ultrex takes a beating and never complains- heck I use it for a power pole up front to keep the boat off the rocks
