This also happens at Kroger. If you use digital coupons you have to be diligent about making sure you actually get the discount. I checked the TT coupons before and after and they were loaded to my card. I had trouble with the Kroger website at one time so j loaded the app. Finding coupons on Kroger's app is a real PIA so I went back to the website.

just use the search function on the app under savings

Website is easier. I just go to digital coupons and they all come up. That and I already have too many freaking apps on my phone.

I like WinCo and may start doing all my shopping there (except for produce, which is probably on a par with Kroger for quality. Tom Thumb is better and Central Mkt is way better). I roamed around one a few days ago and their prices are lower than almost everything in Kroger. The cereal I like is almost $1/box less. Blue Bell is almost $1 less for a 1/2 gal. Lots of examples. I think the savings will more than offset the gas discounts.

No apps, no points, no coupons to clip digitally and toe to toe for a full two weeks of stuff it will be cheaper. I will still hit a good sale item at Kroger or Tom Thumb but just for the item, day in day out Winco will win.

Closest Winco is in Garland about 15 miles and not worth the drive. I went to Aldi once and never again. I think Winco is in the same class.

United has the digital coupons also. I use my I-pad to clip mine and we use them every time we go.

No no no. Very different than Aldi. I wont go to Aldi. Went one time and it was BS. Never again.

Winco is legit a good. They have name brands, solid store brands, clean stores, low prices, no gimmicks and still open 24 hours on the real. Yes you have to bag your own stuff but isnt that the case 90% of the time these days anyways? But they offer paper OR plastic bags. Your preference Chief. Or heck mix and match thats what I do.
