lipless crank bait or flat side crank bait once I find them I'll bust out the drop shot lol

clear deep water- drop-shot, c-rig, and wing ding
clear shallow water- trap chrome
stained- red trap and chatterbait

When I think crankbait, I think of it going off the bottom. Didn't think to see it running above the bottom by several feet.

Like it, love it, hate it, honestly I agree-the scope-the ultimate search “bait”(until technology makes even that old school).
Fishing has changed on a very fundamental level.

For no-scope, lipless crankbait-I kinda always liked a shad/chrome for cold water -January, the red prespawn-February.
I’m afraid that’s very old school though…
