You can believe what you want. just like I don't believe your numbers.
There were more issues than Snow birds--- but I believe they did their share.
Amistad has never been 75,000 acres. It’s 67,000 at full which hasn’t happened in 20 years. Last year it was down to 18,000 acres and right now it’s in the low 30’s.

They keep coming back because Amistad had the best fish cleaning station in the world.

Castnetters seem to be a bigger threat on some of the lakes I frequent. They destroy shallow vegetation and spawning grounds. Also keep everything and sometimes harass anglers at the launch. I’ve been asked if I had any fish I could give them. Just twice. But it was uncomfortable.
