Are there good mechanics w/ in 2 hours of DFW that are reliable in older engines?
Mine is surging at anything over 3,000 rpm. Would love to get it back right.

Any chance you’ve changed the fuel line to an aftermarket or non-Yamaha brand?

I have a 2000 OX66 150 I took to Fun and Sun in Hurst for a non-starting issue. It was my starter not spinning fast enough to fire. Fixed it in a couple of days.
I have no complaints with the service I got there

If you have never had the injectors cleaned and balanced, I would start there. I have the same motor and know it pretty well. It could be many things, but starting with clean and balanced injectors is a good start. If you want to tackle it yourself, dm me and I’ll send you my number and talk to you live.
