I know everyone wants to go to a lake where they have seen or heard of people catching fish, but the same thing could be done in just about any lake. It's not the lake, it is the fisherman, the electronics, the technique, and the presentation.

I don't know where he is other than that it's not Brandy Branch or Tyler State Park. Where does Milliken live?

Scratch that, not Pat Mayse; but the key is 2-3 feet high. Not many lakes in N. Texas currently 2-3 feet high.

It's not a lake west of Dallas--too much lush vegetation and tall trees. I'd say the lake is north East Texas...... Ellison Creek/Lonestar.

It’s not Pat Mayse either. I fish there all the time.

Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right

They are the same lake, but it is a hot water lake that gets hammered this time of year. No trout has ever lived there.

I have never in my life heard a true East Texan call it Brandy Branch. It’s Lake Perky and always will be Lake Perky.

Correction, I believe the correct spelling is Pirkey

It's not Perky, Pirkey, Brandy Branch, or whatever you want to call it. There are no houses and boat docks on Pirkey.
