I want to possibly go fish the Lower San Jac River out of Bayland park. The tides are not exactly what I want them to be. Low tide is supposed to be around 10:30am. How much will an outgoing tide affect my ability to launch my boat?
Thanks!

I have fished all that area for over 25 years. For me a prefer to fish it on a high tide. I haven't had much success on a low tide, I really do pretty good on the beginning of the low tide starting to fall or the first couple of hours of the high tide coming in. During the winter months it can be hard to launch especially after a hard NW or N wind. The water really gets pushed out of that boat ramp, plus that isn't the best for fishing. This was a recent catch out of there. Capt. Alan Galveston Fishing ChartersGalveston Bay Fishing Guides
