Wow that is cool !! How big was the gator ??
I raised one from a hatchling a few years ago and it was about 4.5 feet long and looked alot like the one in your picture, but a little smaller !!

My best friend's son was out there 2 weeks ago & he caught a 2ft gator on a top water bait.

Awesome pics. How big is he? I have friends here at work that don't believe there are gators in the Lakes. You know these are the people that are leisure boaters.

I'd probably have to say from tip to tip he was at least 4-4 1/2 feet. My friend stayed over there and said he seen a gator Monday in the swimming hole that was about 12-14 ft in legnth..... TP&W estimated the gator population at the Scout Ranch at close to 700....
