 Trolling Motor Transducer Cost

1st off I only like the old school fish finders and mainly use them for depth,and water temps. I just bought a new Humminbird Piran Max 4 because the are only $100.00 and are a really good unit. I just got a nice Minn Kota Riptide for my pontoon boat and was thinking of putting another one on the front for it. I called Humminbird and the only transducer for a trolling motor for my unit was 200 bucks !
Is there a way to mount a regular transducer on my trolling motor were it will work?

if you can wait till thur when I get back to fork I am pretty sure I have one that will work new, never used.
it is a trolling motor round puck style I believe.

Thanks all I just saw were you can get a cheap kit from Minn Kota to use a regular transducer on your trolling motor. I would have never thought LOL' I also found a almost new Humminbird 565 on ebay I am bidding on I used to have one and really like the old ones like that.
