fun lake from Oct to May.
After that, the wakeboard and jet ski crowd owns it.

Seems like the guy who owns property on the lake should be the one figuring it out and letting the rest of us in on his secrets. Go sink some brush piles for us...

There are about 300 or more already sank. Spend the time to find them . It’s pretty easy.

spent the day there today... was a brutal start with ice buildup causing grief...but after the sun was up the dock bite got good, love skipping jigs, was surprising not one spotted bass, all largemouths...best fish was a 5 +...wish I didn't have to work tomorrow !

If you go down to the dam and look on the other side from Cypress Springs you will see a lake worth spending a lot more time on for bass fishing. Don't get me wrong, have had some great days on Cypress Springs for sure and if it could get to normal level I would love to be throwing a jig on the docks but I really love fishing Bob Sandlin a lot more.

I loved Cypress Springs when the grass was there. Find grass, cast a Texas or Carolina rigged Blue Fleck Power worm on the edge of the grass and hold on. Now, not so much. Dock fishing is probably the most reliable way to fish Cypress these days. There are lots of brush piles which can hold bass as well.

I agree with TBassYates Sandlin is overall a better lake to fish.
