Range cubes are a really effective bait in the winter and the next few months should be very productive using them. I fished a couple of hours this evening and caught a nice variety of fish.

I have caught a few bass on my home made flavored dough bait in the past. That is the first time that I have heard of a bass on range cubes. Well done.

I have caught several nice bass over the years on range cubes in areas I chum with range cubes. They usually hit the cubes on the fall.

Do range cubes work in salt? I think not. Does anyone make a shrimp range cube?

I have never tried range cubes in saltwater, but now you have me intrigued. I may have to try them next time I go to the Florida Keys. They use oats there all the time for chum and I think range cubes might work there. As for shrimp cubes, they come in 5 pound blocks.

Range Cubes draws any type fish .Back in my 20s when i was a big Crappie nut ole Mack used come sweep up the 2 barges at Ray Hubbard and throw in range cubes daily to attract crappie . . Mack was a great fisherman who made and sold his chenille jigs at the barges , He has been long gone but remember those days well ......

Wow, I used range cubes to chum all the time, I've heard of using them as bait, but I've never seen a bass eat them. Pretty cool. When you are using the cubes as bait are you chumming with corn as well?
