Copperas Cove Bass Club is currently seeking new members. Both boaters and non-boaters.

Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at Lil-Tex restaurant in Copperas Cove at 7pm.

The next meeting will be Tuesday December 27th at 7pm. We will be electing new officers and selecting a date and location for the club's next tournament in January.

Is there a Club due?

I'm trying to confirm but I believe club dues for the year are $30. You do not have to pay club dues to attend the meetings you would only need to if you join the club or want to fish the club tournaments. Also, you can join the club at any time there is no deadline for the start of the year or anything.

I would definitely appreciate the opportunity to join your organization as a boater.

We will be having our first tournament of the year Saturday, January 21st on Lake Whitney out of McCown Park. If you are interested in fishing with the club get in touch with me.

Copperas Cove Bass Club fished it's first tournament of the year on Lake Whitney last Saturday, 1/21/23. Results below:

1st place - 2 fish - #4.52
2nd place - 1 fish - #2.36
3rd place - 1 fish - #2.17

Big bass was #3.05.

There were 7 participants. All in all it was a pretty tough day. Fish came on jerkbaits, drop shot worms, and crankbaits.

We will have our next meeting on 02/14/2023(sorry ladies) where we will select a location for our clubs February tournament. If you are interested in the club please feel free to come by and join our meetings or get in touch with me.

Our February tournament will be this Saturday at Lake Austin. Ramp TBD but I believe we will be going out of Walsh. If you are interested in fishing with the club get in touch with me.

Copperas Cove Bass Club fished its fourth tournament of the year this past Sunday(04/23/23) on Inks Lake. Weather was a little rough but we managed.

7.86lbs took first place including a 3.81 that took big bass honors.
Second place took 3.57lbs
Third was 2.29lbs

We will be fishing a two day tournament on Lake Somerville in May. Dates and times tba. Our next meeting will be May 9th at Lil-Tex in Copperas Cove. Come see us!

We ran into some logistical issues with Somerville so the club will fish Lake Belton on a one day tournament Saturday May 20th from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Launching out of Temple Lake Park(ramp is back open).

We will be fishing a two day tournament in June, lake and date TBD.
