Met a couple of Fishing Buddy's at Log Cabin and headed out about 730am to do some more deadsticking for Hybrids and White Bass. Started off in Clear Creek and made an hour long drift and found some nice sized white bass but nothing of large schools like I had been seeing on the previous 2 weekends. Water went up to 60 degrees from the warmer weather we had this past week which may have been be part of the lack of large numbers. So we packed up and headed out to the main lake and made a 3 hr drift from from Long Ridge to Lynn Creek. Pulled out the Thumper and found huge schools of Whites with Hybrids mixed into the schools. After it was all over at 12:30 we caught 75 whites and 12 Hybrids with the biggest Hybrids between 16-22 inches. Still looking for the Bigguns that are out there but the water temps need to drop into the deep low 50's for that to happen is my theory. Using Constant Pursuit Thump Bosses with a 1/2 oz stripaholic round jig head and using a drop shot hook to use a double tndem set up. Caught 2 at a time 3 different times! Fishing is great on Cedar Creek!
