North ain't as steep as South. I've seen headlights in the water before at South. You've never been to Sheldon Lake in Houston if you think the South Park ramp is steep. By far, the most unusual and most poorly decide ramp I've ever used

By far, the most unusual and most poorly decide ramp I've ever used I don't know what they were thinking when they created Sheldon. The ramp's steepness is due to the embankments. The embankment must be 8-10 above the water level. The water would NEVER get high enough to go over the embankments because the spillway is always just a few inches above the water level. I all fairness though, I am amazed that Sheldon stays open. It serves not commercial use anymore. And it's free!
