Well that really went off the tracks! Thanks to those offering tips and tricks. I'll put them to good use! As for Stubby's cheese bait, I really like it and I still use it alongside my great-grandfather's garlic dough-bait recipe that I just recently got ahold of and you can't tell who is fishing with which bait because they both catch a bunch of fish.

I don't normally take time to log in but in this case I must. I failed to see pics of the any fish caught on his big fish bait.

That being said:

I stand with Shannon and Stubby and have never fished with either, just used Stubby's Cheese and it speaks for itself.

Best bait I have ever seen and used is those brown shelled clams. Or is it a mussel? Tiger mussels have killed a bunch.


Fill a 5gal bucket 1/3rd to the top. No water. Leave them dry. Set the bucket out for a day. What occurs is the most disgusting smell, you've ever experienced.

I tried them on a trotline. Excellent results. Tried them on a pole, same results. It'll blow away store bought baits.

Learn to breathe through your mouth. Because one whiff of rotten clam with turn your guts. Catfish love it.

That is one large crock of $hit. I've been on and around this site since 6/2002 and never have seen anyone pay to advertise anything. Here again Grasshopperglock is spouting off what he knows nothing about.
Folks like him are just more reasons why the older members don't post a lot anymore.

Grasshopper. I have no idea why you would attack Stubby's. Who cares if you don't agree with his bait and the results.
There are a ton of folks on here that swear by it. I don't use Stubby's myself but it is a great bait. You fish with your nasty
rotten clams and enjoy yourself. Heck you could probably catch a ton of catfish if you got your poop on a hook. I ain't
going to do it. I'll stick with what works for me and I'm pleased with. You fish with your clams. And let those folks who use Stubby's
fish and enjoy the results. As my dad use to always say to me, if you can't say something good about some one don't say anything.
Maybe its time for you to just be quite and go fishing.
