I just got one of these from BPS with gift cards - anyone have this reel and whether thumbs up or down?

I have that reel and really like it. The knob handles are different and took a little while to get used to, but this has become one of my most used reels and I'm mostly a Shimano guy.

Back in the 80's and 90's I fished some circuits at home in Louisiana where the guys that dominated were fishing Christmas tree thickets they had built. These days with sonar being what it is it would be impossible to put that many trees/brush piles out and keep them secret to point you'd actually get to fish them on the day of a tournament. I'm not famiiliar with rules on various circuits these days as to whether that would be legal or not. Would it be considered cheating in some circles?
