Some of these towns called out are not so "small". Now, they're not metropolis types but . . . ?
The smallest closest to me is Woodville and I like it. pop. 2500.
I like Jasper too.
Mrs RayBob works in Livingston but it has a meh aire to it.
Luckenbach is kinda kool in a touristy kinda way !
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

I certainly haven’t been to as many small Texas towns as a lot of you guys have, but I like Sweetwater One of my exes lives there. Not a fan....of her or the town. Probably Texline, as it means I'm almost to Red River. Meridian, because there is a great German restaurant there, the state park is nice, and it's a cool little town.

Muenster, may be a little bias but I grew up there, lots of fine folks. I would imagine there are hundreds of small towns in Texas that are awesome places.
