The weather was great. Ok so it was 33 when they started but it really didn't affect the fishing that much. Except for one angler EVERYONE ELSE struggled. Which has pretty much been the story since the end of August. I've been told that even the guides are having a hard time satisfying their customers.

They drew Section 3 for today's tournament and I'm glad it wasn't me that drew it this time.

MLF format where every bass 10" up counts including slot fish,

Boaters Results:

1st Place- Randy Bunch of Lake Fork with 7 bass for 15.89 LB with the boater lunker of 6.64 LB.
2nd Place- Herb King of Lake Fork with 5 bass for 5.66 LB with a 1.54 LB lunker,
3rd Place- Don Overstreet of Sulphur Springs with 3 bass for 4.14 LB with a 2.25 LB lunker.
4th Place- Tim Gold of Mineola with 1 bass for 0.90 LB
5th Place - Mike McWhorter of Lake Fork with 0 bass.

The main baits were baby brush hogs and drop shot finesse worms.

Co-Anglers

1st Place- Tom Whitrock of Lake Fork with 3 bass for 4.08 LB with a 2.49 LB lunker
2nd Place- Larry Kelly of Yantis with 1 bass which was the lunker for this group for 3.78 LB. Yes, he caught the lunker once again.
3rd Place- Tom Black of Bullard with 2 bass for 1.93 LB with 1.00 LB lunker.
4th Place- Rick Wright of Rowlett 2 bass for 1.77 LB. With a 1.21 LB lunker.
5th Place- Scott Powell with 2 bass for 1.73 LB with a 1.17 LB lunker.

26 keepers were caught with no skunks.
