Low price quality? Lew’s Speed Spool LFS. Agree 100%. Bought one a couple of years ago and find myself using it more than my Metanium or Chronarchs. Zero complaints.

I also use the Metaniums and Metanium-Scorpions but all that I have I bought are gently used out of Japan for the most part at around $100 each.
Because I don/t have a boat anymore I don't need 20.
They are without a doubt the best casting reels I have ever owned. And they match up well with my Dobyns rods.

I will also add lets not forget about parts for these reels! stick to the big brands because all these other brands are iffy when things do break. Look at shimano you can still get parts for reels that are 20+ years old no issues at all!

I will also add lets not forget about parts for these reels! stick to the big brands because all these other brands are iffy when things do break. Look at shimano you can still get parts for reels that are 20+ years old no issues at all! I finally decided to upgrade all of my 20+ year old Curados. After trying a few newer models I settled on the 150 MGL reels. I bought a couple and love them but with my budget I knew it would take me a while to replace all of my older reels. I was following Caleb Kuphal and he had a video of the reels he has been using for a couple of years from Piscifun, the Alloy M reels. I decided to buy one just to check them out because I could get them at about $60.00. To make a long story short I now have about 8 of them. All I can say is that they are every bit as smooth as the 150 and actually casts farther. Don't get me wrong as I am able to afford them I will still buy the 150 MGL reels for the reason this gentleman mentioned because I know I will have a reel that will last for the next 20 years with no problem getting them serviced in any way. But for now these Alloy M reels are the best quality reel I have found for the cost. They have 12 brake system, large handle and are a perfect size for me so I will keep using them as I gradually get the 150 MGL's and maybe still use a few of them for particular rigs.

I'm not sure what the original post is asking either.
Bang for the buck, but not expensive? That's H20 for me, from Sports Academy.
More expensive? I like Sixgill out of Southlake, Texas.
...!
