You just made your life and future much better. Congratulations young man.
Thank you, sir. I don't get called "young man" much anymore lol. I'll be 40 in August. 2 years 2 months (or so) without a smoke.

Spaz, hang in there. Proud of you. I quit last year or 2 ago for about the 50th time. I’m 82 yoa and started as a teenage farm/ranch hand. I have no idea how many times I quit but always let the weed call me back.
Like you, I counted the days. I think that is a Mistake because you may be obsessing over your success but that still keeps you thinking about tobacco. I can assure you that the mental hook lasts a lot a lot longer than the physical. Quit posting and thinking and come back in a couple of months.

Thanks folks. Still goin strong. I don't exactly count the days, it's just the occasional time it pops into my head, I think about how longs it's been. I notice it a lot when I exercise and I can actually breathe decently. I think to myself, I couldn't do this a couple years ago and it's a great feeling. I try not to think about how much shorter my life will be after 20 years of smoking but that's an unhealthy train of thought so I try to focus on improving the time I have left. I'm 39 years old and have a lot I want to do; LFG!!!

My grandfather was my hero ---- he smoked most of his life and in the end , my last really good memory of him was taking him to a local pond for some bass fishing --- he had to wear a mask , drag his oxygen tank along --- he could barely walk or talk --- he was fighting for air . The memory still bothers me
