I follow Randy but I'd have to at least partially disagree. Since coming back to the sport about 3 years ago most everything I've boated on any kind of crankbait style lure has been on sexy shad. Of course I haven't thrown a crankbait all that much either and really haven't boated a lot of fish with one. My actual "go to" color is anything crawfish but really haven't tied one on recently due to trying other more modern color combos. If you count the black, gold, and red Rogue I've thrown the numbers look better.

He has a video posted just about every single day, they pop up automatically on the YouTube feed. I’ll typically watch the first couple of minutes to see if it interest me or not, for the last year or so though, it’s just pretty much whining about FFS. I used to like him, use that term loosely though, it was about the cost of boats and how he used an aluminum rig, “because it cost less”. Then comes along Skeeter and cuts him a deal, no more whining about the cost of boats….the guy is nothing but a hypocritical sellout. Whines about the price of baits, then promotes his own line of expensive jigs, along with Megabass. If you’re going to claim something, you shouldn’t be a hypocrite about it.

Seems like he has 1 good bait video for every 5 whining videos. I guess it’s all he can do for income though, since he can’t compete in tournaments anymore.

Watch several of his video's and you will quickly see that he is a goofball. He will modify EVERY bait that he uses the way HE thinks it ought to be and he will tell you that to catch fish, you need to modify it the way he does. Not true at all. I watched one of his videos on modifying a jig and he nearly cut off the entire skirt.
