I want to go to one brand for all my rods. Right now I use a few Ducketts, and a few Shimanos. Im thinking about either going all Ducket, All Shimano, or all TFO. Ive loved my Ducketts so far but heard of some having QC issues. I also love my Shimano's, and have no reason to doubt them, and I have also heard a lot of good things about TFO but have heard their warranty isn't good and you have to pay to get a replacement. Thoughts???

If you've already used every model of a single brand and actually prefer them, then why not.
I have 4 Ducketts that I use for Light T-rigs and weightless applications, but I think there are better jig rods out there.
My favorite small Topwater and jerkbait rods are $40 Ugly Stick Lites.
My favorite Chatterbait Rod is a Falcon.
I love my St. Croix Mojos for dragging a C-Rig,
And i like my edge rods for Cranking.
Unless a rod company was providing me with an extreme discount, I would never limit myself to 1 brand.

You'll not find a brand that just gives free replacements for broken rods. Reason being most issues are not warranty issues, they are user error.

Find a builder or build them yourself. North Fork Composites is where its at.

I'm actually in a different camp than most...as cool as it is to have one brand rod, I've found some techniques are just better with other rod brands.
Example: Jerkbait, I've found that the Megabass Levante 110 stick is the best for this presentation.
Sure there's other rod companies out there, but this one to me provides the best feel for jerkbaits.
When I'm throwing a worm / jig, then I prefer Diawa Elite rods. When I'm dragging a c-rig, I prefer an ALX dragger rod.

Thoughts??? Love your Shimano's and your Ducket yet want to change? Tip - running one line of rods doesn't really get you in the cool club...... Run what you like or what works well for you. I lean toward Falcon but also have Phenix, Dobyns, TFO and other rods in the box.

I have never been able to find a complete line of fishing rods for all of my needs that I could afford.

Based on what I have and what is still being produced my best rods are Falcon. I have two that were bought right around the time the company first went into business and I still fish with them today. They build solid stuff. I'm looking for a jig/pitching rod and a small to medium diver crankbait rod. Talked to some folks that have owned the newer Falcons and the Cara line is what I'm looking at. I have a Duckett Ghost crankbait rod and I love the way it cast with 1/4 to 1/2 ounce crankbaits but I probably loose over 50% of the fish I hook up with at the boat. I believe it is just to soft at the tip and it makes it hard to get the hooks buried up in a fish's mouth. I was given some money on my birthday this year and it was enough to buy a Jordan Lee Abu Garcia Crankbait Rod. So far I like it a lot better, it's only $100 rod and I've seen him fishing with these, mainly his pitching and flipping rod and he boated some big fish with it @ Bussy Brake in Louisiana, he boat lifted some nice size fish with this rod and it stood up to it. I haven't ruled out buying more of those rods either, even though they are considered a cheap rod.

Don't look at me, I'm a tackle snob so almost all of my rods are GLoomis with a few Megabass in the mix
