So I’m fishing a small East Tx lake last Saturday and a couple of fellows wearing matching long sleeve team fishing jerseys troll past my little boat. Seeing the jerseys, I ask what tournament they were fishing, they replied not fishing a tourney just fun fishing. They were friendly enough but, matching jerseys while fun fishin, hmmm? Or should I just mind my own business and not worry about what others wear on the water?

Could be a superstitious type deal. Lots of people have weird ideas about luck and what they have to do/wear in order to succeed at their endeavor. I have a client that if the Cowboys are winning, they have to not move from whatever seat they are in. Like not move... at all. They have to be still. Because, you know that's why they're winning.....

I’ve never seen the appeal of wearing anything advertising a service or product unless I am getting paid by that company to wear it. Fishing jerseys seem a little fanboy to me.

I say weird as [censored]. If youre not paying me or sponsoring me in some way, why? Those shirts are ugly as sin. You don't see people slapping Mobil one emblems on the front of their F-150 cause they think they drive real good...

If it was high school kids, I now expect it to be common. They gave my kid and 1, 2 different shirts that we could wear for tournaments or practice.
