I have the Stowaway mount and it works great for me. Isn`t the Stowaway the same as the Flex or are they Two different system mounts?

I`m considering a mount for my live 9 unit that will allow me to extend it to a more comfortable height & fold it out of the way when not in use. Reason being I almost ram a smaller boat because I didn`t see it because my vision was obstructed by the unit just like someone mentioned earlier.Whew! really Shook me up.

I made mine about a year ago.
