Slow start but ended up real good. Most fish were caught in 30-40 ft of water. We felt like we had the lake to ourselves, rarely saw another boat. Never got any catfish mixed in with them, but did get two large crappie. Excellent day on the lake tomorrow maybe not so much

That is good. I like the days when the other boats are rare, especially the wake boats.

The fishing has been outstanding lately. It’s also nice that the traffic has died down. Most of my gosh have been coming from the 28-33’ range. Here soon they will get real deep and we will have to dead stick them

Just started fishing a new to me lake in September and pretty much no fisherman on the lake. Tons of pleasure boats. I felt like we would have the lake to our self but last Thursday we had more fisherman on the lake than we've had since starting to fish there.

Which is kind of good seeing how the lake is new to me. We found a couple secret spots that hold was holding fish!
