This was the last bad head on I made in my career, it was at LBJ and Jupiter.

Drunk POS was in the Tahoe that was wrong way and was still alive and was complaining as we had to cut him out of the Tahoe. The mother and her children were extricated first and sadly the mom did not make it. Still pisses me off terribly to this day!

The place where I encounter this far too regularly is on I-45 southbound through Houston. Don't know if there's something weird about their onramps & offramps down there or what.

Definitely have to change my underwear after a close pass from one of them

A bunch happened on a toll road. It makes me crazy to think someone could get on a tollroad going the wrong direction

Does the tollway pay them, then? I might have to check into that.

Well, we have some 'reversible' toll lanes here in DFW. I-35E, the toll lanes are open southbound at one time of day, northbound at another. I suppose that a malfunction could leave an entry point open for the wrong direction.

We live on the freeway and last night sounded like there was a head on, at least two or three cars involved and tons of police at midnight. 20 some years we’ve heard a lot of wrecks this was the worst.

They ought to put those metal strips down to flatten everyone’s tires if they’re going the wrong direction. Maybe every mile or so. Would be easy to do, save a lot of lives over the decades.

That’s not a bad idea, or something along those lines.

What a maroon!

Wrong way drivers are my biggest fear. I drive 60 miles from Montgomery to Downtown Houston. In the 6 years I've been doing it, I've only encountered 1 but we read about them often.

Usually liquor, and very often the driver has prior DUI/DD infractions of some kind and if the system took these offenses seriously then these issues would go away 90%+. Same reason I think it's dangerous to legalize mj - until we prove we can enforce alcohol effectively then make the situation worse shouldn't even be on the table.

They had changed the streets one block over from Main Street to one ways for the 6 blocks of the business district. I was taking grandma downtown. After about 2 blocks of not seeing another car my grandmother calmly asked if I had noticed that they had changed the street to a one way.
