I'm more worried about some lame-brained 16 year old kid texting and driving than I am the elderly. My wife got t-boned at Legacy and 121 by an older guy who was texting and driving. I try my best not to do it myself. It's hard to keep from doing it. how can it be hard there has never been a text that couldn't wait 10 minutes DL age needs to be moved to 25

Wonder if there was a way you could have a driving school/test online to get a renewal? I know here in Alabama we need boaters license to operate a boat. You can do all the testing online. I takes about three hours and they have it where you cannot just skip through the videos that you have to watch...yea I tried that......
I am talking about any one over a certain age, but 70 to some is like 90 to others and 70 to some is like 50.
Then we seem to have a lot of drivers that love to text and drive. Some can't drive in the first [place and we wonder how they even got their licenses. Buddy of mine had to take their moms keys away from her and she yelled, curse, took them out of her will, just because every time she went off, she came back with new dents in the car, some will different paint on them...meaning she has hit more than 1 car out there....and she never remembers it.
Not a short answer, well there is but then you would have 50% or more complaining about it no matter what was enforced.

My uncle drove into his 90s. Just local. Confessed to me that he carried a big wad of cash to settle any fender benders so insurance not involved.

Road Course Sim racing on iRacing has kept this senior citizen pretty sharp on how to drive. Not winning as many races these days as arthritis takes over, but can still beat many young whipper snappers on any given day.
