big difference between cheating like the walleye fishermen did and sprague breaking a rule which apparently there was some confusion and/or question whether a rule was broken....obviously there was no intent to break the rule or MLF would have banned him from future tournaments......

they would not fess up which rifle he had used so they took em all, 15k in 1985 dollars.

they can take anything used to aid in committing the crime, cheat while in your boat and kiss it goodbye if you get busted, they sell at auction usually.
