I wish I could edit videos like you. Do you use an app? Gopros?

the way the mussels grow on timber in big clusters had me frustrated for a while on one lake I fish even with livescope.. it looks like crappie on the trees. I started watching the sonar looking for movement.. if no movement of fish, I move on. central texas lakes are in turnover as well. lots of bubbling coming to the surface, particulate matter, and stank! for me spring turnover seems to make fishing tougher than the fall turnover. It may be because I normally fish shallower in fall and your point abt shallower water not being affected as much has good merit. the water on lakes mixes alot and I think that puts fish in a roaming pattern where they are trying to find suitable water. the particulate matter is harder to pass thru thier gills and get oxygen. it can and does kill crappie if they cannot get away from it.. also sometimes the particulate matter will cover different parts of the water column and fish will be underneath it.. kind of like opposite of a thermocline.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
