Headed there this weekend with some guys from work. I am thinking spinner baits and squarebills. What else would you be throwing. Trying to put them on some fish. Thanks

Fork is not fishing good… maybe this cold snap will change it up but last weekend we had a group of 24 there…. Some darn good fork locals and some darn good overall fishermen. We decided to go to Hollbrook after everyone spent a little time prefishing Fork so that all teams could catch fish all day. If you don’t find them offshore grouped up your fishing for a few bites in a full day of grinding it out. Literally parked my boat 3 min from the ramp on fork and drove 20 miles to fish Hollbrook. FWIW Winnsboro and Quitman are both fishing decent too.

if your are out early am start with chatterbait and jerkbait around docks, weightless fluke or 6" senko maybe.
head out to creek channels in 20' or more and c rig or t rig senkos or 10" worms.
haven't been on the water all summer but that is how I would hit it right now.

Agree, think it'll be tough conditions. My guess is the lake would be heading into early turnover, if it hasn't already started. Saturday will be full sun and 5mph east wind.
Deep, I'd fish a tailspinner like a Little George or a wingding, a spoon, and drop shot. Shallow, I'd take a lipless crankbait, a jerkbait, and a fluke.
Take some spinning rods and minnows for crappie fishing if the bass fishing is slow.

ShakeyHead, drop-shot, Senko... Slow way down and fish timber, rocks, and docks near transition areas. Find some of the grass and work that too!

6" - 8" live perch on a carolina rig with about a 3' leader has been killing the big fish. I'm looking to have some replicas made of a few I caught out there recently on the c-rigged live perch.

Throw the biggest glide bait you can find, if you’re fishing for one bite it might as well be a big one.

Fishing the NW bridge rip rap of 515 or southwest bridge rip rap of 2946 with red wacky rig with red or watermelon candy fished as SLOW as possible paid 12 fish with 3 overs at Sealys a couple of weeks back.

Bridge concrete aprons or have they put rip rap in Fork ? I have not been there in a year or so

Are the high schoolers going out of one ramp or are they trailering? We plan on launching out of the minnow bucket. I will be throwing what yall suggested with the exception of the glide bait since I do not own any thanks. Any idea how many teams they will have.
