certainly the death of a spouse or child is more painful. Agree I've heard that one is worse than any of them. Something you just don't recover from. My parents were never the same after my sister died.

When do you really know ? Going through it right now, my 17 yr old Aussie , she has a very bad rear body action, falls a lot, cant handle herself with the new pup, eats very little, control over stool , Know its time, however the love and trust in her eyes keeps me from it.... They tell you when they're ready to go. When life just isn't fun any more. Vaquita just stopped engaging, stopped wanting to eat. She was done. Kione same thing. They don't have human words, but they will tell you when it's time.

One of the best pieces of advice I got was someone questioning if I was keeping the dog alive for her benefit or mine? Look at your baby's quality of life and make the call.
