9 broken bones , knocked out 5 times , stiches 6 times , 4 surgeries ----but nothing was more painful than having an ICU Dr tell me that my 12 year old daughter might not survive the night . 100% positive prayers were answered that night

Physical pain is not even close to Mental pain/anguish/depression.
I have been through all kinds of physical pain (multiple injuries from going through a windshield from an auto accident where the driver was killed, leukemia treatment (it is in remission), 3 bouts of pneumonia, multiple spine surgeries, and of course family/friend's deaths to name just a few things.
Relationship pain/mental pain is by far worse. Whether it is from parents, spouse or both.
Having to recently start taking medication to try to stay calm and have a somewhat normal life is hell.
I would gladly trade any of my physical issues (which are now fine) over my mental issues. It is a daily, no hourly grind.
My spouse has been very, very supportive by the way.
OP, just saying breakups can be bad and maybe should happen or not....... Life goes on.
Titos is good by the way. LOL

Worst physical pain (so far)
Harpooned by a stingray.
Blowing over a lazer at 95. Broken collarbone, dislocated elbow, rubbed the hide off half my face. Water is not soft at that speed.
