I used to go to the waterburger and jack in the crack at 2-3am back in the late 80's Probably gonna eat a little earlier than that, like actual lunch time. But I can relate to your post!

100 years ago I ate breakfast at the Blue bonnet cafe. Or was it Marble Falls. It was on the main drag. Just a hole in the wall place but pretty good. Now that I think about it. It was Marble Falls so never mind. I'd delete, but I'm trying to reach Hop's post count. It's only an hour or so from San Marcos. Good try though. Blue Bonnet is pretty famous. It's all about the pie. Everyone knows about the pie. Have eaten at the Bluebonnet quite a few times when fishing Lbj, not an option for this occasion, thanks!

We ate at the Root Cellar when we were down that way last year and it was very good.

We ate at Garcias today. Maybe we have higher standards of good food but that place was maybe 1 step above Taco Bell. Then we made the mistake of going to the outlet malls, holy hell, and I thought San Antonio sucked…..

Good place to buy fentanyl though, if that’s your thing.
