They are back out spraying it again. Claim is that it won’t kill the native grass like eel grass that’s also growing.
They need to leave it alone in areas where there aren’t waterfront homes or docks. Not going to do it. Eel grass, on Conroe? I'll have to take your word for it, but I'd love to see it with my own eyes.

Ken Smith has an excellent series on YT with the head of veg control at TPWD. He said they cannot allow hydrilla in Conroe due to the homeowner's lack of access to their boathouses. It's funny that people who don't like to fish buy so many homes on lakes.

We as fishermen need a good lawyer that will start a class action against the chemicals being put in our lakes

No need to poison the food chain in the lake every time you’re too lazy to put in a little extra effort.

LBJ has amazing grass coming back but it's only temporary. I saw several contractors in the weed control boats clearing out docks. The problem with LBJ is that is so flat. The grass mats in shallow docks and goes out 30-40 yards. But it's better than spraying cause it grows right back

Well, the grass is dead and floating, as well as a lot of the pads that were starting to emerge in places that had green fresh grass along with a lot of fish just a couple of weeks ago. Not a single fish to be found. Sucks all that habitat for bass and crappie fry and fingerlings is being destroyed right when they need it.

The grass is pretty easy to find. You can see the dark spots in the areas it’s located. Of course they are killing the best fish holding grass, hydrilla.

Perhaps they are controlling the growth. A few years ago, I saw airboats pray Sheldon, and Sheldon always has thick vegetation. Two weeks ago, I noticed that the NE shoreline near Stow a Way had a lot of vegetation growing. This was something that I have not seen in a look time or maybe I did not pay attention to it.
I have caught solid fish out of Sheldon and Conroe; with and without thick vegetation.
