Meet Merlin, ya'll. He's a Great Dane that I had adopted last year through PAWS of Austin:

Can't you see how hard his life is?

Yep, Juke. They have really great temperaments. I had adopted Merlin because of that giant goofy smile. It's nice to know that there are others out there that are just as goofy and clumsy as I am. He can really crack me up sometimes. He's a true cornball!

He is the spitting image of my Gray Merle Dane, named Conway. I know what you mean about them making you laugh. They are really silly and when they start running around you have to watch out cause they can take your feet out from under you with no problem! Watch the stuff on the coffeee table too!

I found this little feller last week, under a bridge, with a big group of coyotes hanging around. We've called him Oso for the time being, but we are looking for a nice new home for him, as we have our legal limit of dogs, lol. He is very good with cats and other dogs, but he is very wary of people, but is making progress. He doesnt bite or anything, just gets scared when you go to him; he's probably been abused or neglected by previous owners, so needs extra patience to pull him out of his 'people gonna hurt me' attitude. He is about 8 weeks old, and 5lbs. We have wormed him, de-flead him, and gave him his first set of shots. We will probably take him to be neutered this week. He isn't yet house trained, but he is halfway through training, and we are at the stage where we still have accidents, but half the time he will wait to go outside. We have only had him 5 days, so he is learning very quick. He has puppy breath, and would make a great companion for another dog. We would like to keep him, but we have 4 fairly large dogs already, and a baby on the way (and 4 cats and some birds and some fish etc).
If anyone is interested in taking care of this cutie, just send me a message. I am prepared to meet you half way, even if you live in alpine or mckinney (i'm in corpus christi).

Well, as the Proud owner of 3 mini-Weiners, I've gotta chime in -

The dapple is the man of the house when I'm fishing, Mugsey. The red dog is a rescued female that we aquired, and aquired not soon enuff I might add, Roxey. Last, but certainly not least, is the lover of the gaggle, the standard black, w/ brown accents, Noodles.

This is their spot when I'm in the office, posting crazy thoughts on the Texas Fishing Forum -

These are my 3 "kids".
