Had something like that happen last year. We were clearing out the flower beds in the backyard. Reached into a pile of plants and got triple tapped before I knew it.

I stepped on a cow ant as a kid. Devastating pain at the time. I don't know how it would translate to pain level today, but I don't want to find out.

Hurt so bad I almost  Sorry I had to laugh,...Been there and done that. as kids we made slingshots out of coathangers and rubberbands. we used marbles for ammo. Believe me they hurt your fingers and thumb..!!

just put my hand on the deck rail, forgot to look first.
yellowjackets hit me about 4 - 7 times in a nano second then they all died a horrible bug death.
big ole nest right where I put the hand.
I should know better.
whatcha'll got? If you think that is bad, just wait til a Ky boy tells you that yellow jacket hives are underground!  . Probably wasps. they are yellow/black, paper wasps but I call them yellow jackets. I saw a bug crawling on the ground so I hopped on it and twisted to squish it. It managed to sting me through the sole of my shoes.
