So i just bought this bait, been reading about it for several years now but i mainly target blue cat so i just never never wanted bait to target channels .
This is not about how good the bait is, I think there are enough of those post-

This is about the unusual quality service I experienced from stubby and Littlewheel-
I especially don’t experience great service lately much of anywhere-

I talked to Littlewheel and stubby yesterday before lunch and gave him my address around noonish-
He didn’t wait to get payment before he shipped, I told him I would send out a check today-
I would not have expected for him to ship until I had paid him-

The bait was delivered to me TODAY!
I mean, who does that these days?
Very impressive and speaks to the quality of these guys-
Comes with a note recommending how to use it-

I’ll buy from this guy again when I need more bait without hesitation-

Very impressive even before I use the bait itself-

i bought a couple of bukits for a friend that lives on the north side of Fork at the Yantis bridge, and Stubby delivered it to him...he may have even sang hapy burfdy 2 him...naa, prolly not, but he did go out of his way to deliver it...now that is SERVICE

There are many service people that could learn from you guys-

I bought my first batch of stubby's on July 29, 2022 from Minnow Bucket on Lake Fork. Oh how I wish it had come with that letter that you posted. I always assumed it was punch/dip bait. I mean in my mind if it comes in a bucket it must be punch/dip bait, right? WRONG! Shame on me for assuming. I spent the entire day of Fork trying to get it to work like punch bait. I added enough water to raise the lake level a foot. couldn't get it to stay on the hook (obviously). Although i did manage to catch a few dinks it was just a lot of hassle. Left the lake thinking I must have gotten a bad batch. Thought I'd try to call Stubby the next morning and ask what I was doing wrong.

Well as I was sitting at the house that night it suddenly dawned on me. Maybe it intended to be used like dough bait. I don't know why i had this sudden realization but I did. Went out the next day and used it as dough bait (like it's intended) and man what a difference. I'm now sold on this bait.

SoonerDG, we appreciate you not giving up on the bait! I guess Stubby and I just “assume” people know it is a dough bait since it doesn’t have 80% cattails in it. We may need to consider putting “dough bait” on the label. These kind of positive posts are what help us to understand what will help our customers. Thank you.

I’ve used Stubby’s before and it works.

I especially like that it doesn’t stink like every other dough or punch bait.

It’s good enough you can bait up, wipe your hands down, and still eat a sandwich if you want.

Well, unless you’re some kind of clean freak anyway. I’ve eaten chow off a deuce and a half bumper in a dust storm so I’m not picky.

Man what a testament to these guys! I don't personally know either one of them, but in this day and age service hasn't just taken a back seat, it's been packed away in a heavily taped box and put in the trunk. Stubby and Shannon are obviously oldschool and I can bet that if you shake hands with either one of them, they're going to honor whatever you shook to!

Thank you guys! I’ve learned through the years that you can’t go wrong by doing the right thing. Several years ago when I was asked by Stubby to come on board with the cheese bait business and learn what he does , I was floored. So , you can bet that if a man trusts me enough with that, I am going to do whatever it takes fulfill my commitments. I appreciate him trusting me this way and truly appreciate our friendship. I’ve watched him help others through the years become successful. I was just fortunate enough to be placed under his wing. 10-12 years ago I couldn’t catch a catfish. Now, I am a guide. That knowledge and the opportunities that I have came from him. So, when we recommend how to use our bait, it is because we want you to be successful. We know there are thousands of ways to catch channel. Through the years we have found what works best for us and try to pass it along. We sure don’t want anyone to do bad.
