I seriously doubt the fly shop will have any. Most anyone that fishes with them tie their own. Not sure if or where they might be commercially available. Chuck a woollybugger at them. It’s the next best thing.

I finally lost that small black one you gave me. I was just thinking about tying some. Guess I’ll have to take a permanent marker to some mallard flank

TD, I probably lost 5 different Deenas on Sunday. One to a tree, a couple in the rocks, and two to aggressive strikes. I was using a 5X tippet, but I think it may have been old.

Later in the evening, the BWOs were coming off in clouds, and I put on a cream or gray dry fly. I caught several stockers and hold-overs on it… THEN… Over and over, I would have fish come up and take it, only to try setting the hook. I could feel the fly in their mouth. I thought I had completely lost my ability to set the hook!!

Frustrated and cold, my friend and I were both ready to leave. I reeled up my line, but when I went to hook my fly onto the hook-keeper, there wasn’t even a bend in the hook!!! It had broken off just above the bend of the hook!!! AAARRRGGGHHH!!!! Lesson learned….. CHECK YER FLY!!! LOL!!
